- 크로몰린과 네도크로밀(Cromolyn and Nedocromil)은 소염 작용이 있는 소염제이다.
- 코르티코스테로이드제의 소염 작용 효력보다 약하나 부작용이 아주 적은 것이 장점이다.
- 천식으로 생긴 기관지와 모세기관지 등 기도의 염증을 치료할 때 주로 쓴다.
- 천식 발작이 더 이상 유발되지 않도록 천식 예방치료를 할 때도 크로몰린이나 네도크로밀을 쓸 수 있다.
- 육체적 운동유발천식이나 야간 수면 유발 천식 등을 예방치료를 할 때도 쓸 수 있다.
- 천식 발작이 알레르기 항원으로 인해 유발될 수 있다.
- 알레르기 항원에 노출되기 전 크로몰린이나 네도크로밀로 예방치료를 하면 알레르기 항원성 천식 발작이 유발되지 않을 수 있다.
- 꽃가루 흡입으로 천식 발작이 유발될 수 있다.
- 꽃가루에 노출되기 전에 크로몰린이나 네도크로밀로 예방치료를 하면 꽃가루 항원으로 인해 천식 발작이 유발되지 않을 수 있다.
- 일반적으로 아토피 체질인 아이들의 기도는 아토피 체질이 아닌 아이들의 기도보다 훨씬 더 과민하게 반응한다.
- 한랭 공기나 짐승의 털 등 다른 천식 발작 유발인자에 더 과민하게 반응되어 천식 발작이 유발되기 쉽다.
- 이때도 크로몰린이나 네도크로밀로 천식 발작이 유발되지 않게 예방할 수 있다.
- 틸라데(Tilade)는 네도크로밀의 상품명이다.
- 인탈(Intal)은 크로몰린의 상품명이다.
- 크로몰린은 흡입용 분무액, 흡입용 에어로졸 HFA, 흡입용 건 분말 캡슐 등이 있다.
- 그중 한 가지를 선택해서 1일 2∼4회, 수 주 또는 몇 달, 또는 몇 년 동안 흡입해서 예방적 천식 치료를 할 수 있다.
- 흡입용 크로몰린 에어로졸 HFA나 네도크로밀 에어로졸 HFA를 효과적으로 흡입할 수 없는 어린 소아들이나 성인들은 에어로챔버 기구나 인스파이에어 기구 등을 이용해서 더 효과적으로 흡입 치료를 할 수 있다.
- 한 개의 흡입용 크로몰린 캡슐에 크로몰린 20mg이 들어있다.
- 한 캡슐을 1일 2∼4회 흡입해서 예방치료 할 수 있다.
- 흡입용 분무 크로몰린 치료액 2cc 앰플에 크로몰린 20mg이 들어 있다.
- 분무용 크로몰린 한 앰플은 2㏄이다.
- 2cc 크로몰린 앰플 분무액으로 만든 분무를 1일 2∼4회 흡입해서 치료한다.
- 크로몰린에도 약물 알레르기가 생길 수 있다. 그러나 부작용은 아주 드물다.
- 크로몰린이나 네도크로밀은 급성 천식을 치료하는 데 쓰지 않는다.

• Cromolyn and Nedocromil are anti-inflammatory drugs with anti-inflammatory properties.
• It is weaker than the anti-inflammatory effect of corticosteroids, but the advantage is that it has very few side effects.
• It is mainly used to treat inflammation of the airways such as bronchi and capillaries caused by asthma.
• Cromolin or nedocromil can also be used for asthma prophylaxis to prevent further asthma attacks.
• It can also be used for preventive treatment of physical exercise-induced asthma or night sleep-induced asthma.
• Asthma attacks can be triggered by allergens.
• Prophylaxis with cromolyn or nedocromil prior to exposure to the allergen may prevent allergic asthma attacks.
• Inhalation of pollen can trigger asthma attacks.
• Prophylactic treatment with cromolyn or nedocromil prior to exposure to pollen may prevent asthma attacks from being caused by pollen antigens.
• In general, the airways of children with atopic constitutions are much more sensitive than those of children without atopic constitutions.
• You are more likely to trigger an asthma attack by overreacting to other triggers, such as cold air or animal fur.
• Even at this time, cromolyn or nedocromil can prevent asthma attacks from occurring.
• Tilade is the trade name of Nedocromil.
• Intal is a trade name for Cromolyn.
• Cromolyn is available as an inhalation spray, inhalable aerosol HFA, and inhaled dry powder capsules.
• You can choose one of them for prophylactic asthma treatment by inhaling it 2-4 times a day, for weeks or months, or years.
• Children and adults who cannot effectively inhale Cromolyn aerosol HFA or nedocromil aerosol HFA for inhalation can be treated more effectively by inhalation using an aerochamber device or an inspired air device.
• One inhalable Cromolyn capsule contains 20 mg of cromolyn.
• One capsule can be inhaled 2 to 4 times a day for preventive treatment.
• 20mg of cromolyn is contained in 2cc ampoules of nebulized cromolyn treatment solution for inhalation.
• One ampoule of Cromolyn for spraying is 2cc.
• Treat by inhaling the spray made of 2cc Cromolyn ampoule spray 2-4 times a day. • Cromolin can also cause drug allergies. However, side effects are very rare. • Cromolyn or nedocromil is not used to treat acute asthma.
