페니실린 이외 약물에 의한 알레르기, Other drug allergy other than penicillin

비 1형 IgE 중개 약물 알레르기가 생기면 구진 피부 발진, 다형 홍반 발진, 관절통, 구토 등의 증상이 생길 수 있고 1형 IgE 중개 약물 알레르기의 증상 징후보다 훨씬 덜 심한 증상 징후가 생길 수 있다.
이론상, 거의 모든 약물은 항원 역할을 할 수 있다. 약물치료를 받을 때 약물 항원 항체 이상 반응이 생겨 약물 알레르기가 생길 수 있다.
때로는, 약물로 1형 IgE 중개 약물 알레르기가 생겼는지, 비 1형 IgE 중개 약물 알레르기가 생겼는지, 약물 알레르기가 아닌 약물 부작용이 생겼는지(예, 아스피린 부작용으로 출혈이 생길 때처럼), 또는 약물 알레르기와 약물 부작용 이 두 가지가 동시에 생겼는지 확실하게 감별할 수 없는 때도 있다.
이런 이유로 약물로 생긴 약물 알레르기와 약물로 생긴 약물 부작용, 또는 약물 유해 작용을 통틀어 “약물 부작용이 생겼다”고 비 의료인들이 말할 때도 많다.

앞서 이미 설명한 바와 같이, 페니실린이나 항생제, 신경 안정제, 마취제, 아스피린, 항히스타민제, 또는 요오드제 등 그 외 약물이 항원 역할을 할 수 있다.
약물 항원이 신체 내에 이미 있는 항체를 만나 항원 항체 이상 반응이 생기고 그로 인해 특이 면역 반응이 생길 수 있다.
이것이 바로 약물 알레르기가 생기는 기전이다.
즉시 약물 알레르기의 예는 아나필락시스 반응이고, 지연 약물 알레르기의 예는 혈청병이다.
때로는 약물로 약물 부작용이 생길 수 있고, 항원 항체 이상 반응으로 약물 알레르기가 생길 수 있다.

Other drug allergy other than penicillin

• Non-type 1 IgE-mediated drug allergy can cause skin rashes papular, rash erythema multiforme, arthralgia, vomiting, and other symptoms that are much less severe than those of type 1 IgE-mediated drug allergy.

• In theory, almost any drug can act as an antigen. When receiving drug treatment, an adverse drug antigen-antibody reaction may occur, resulting in drug allergy.

• Sometimes, the drug causes a type 1 IgE-mediated drug allergy, a non-type 1 IgE-mediated drug allergy, a drug side effect that is not a drug allergy (such as bleeding as a side effect of aspirin), or a drug allergy and drug allergy.

There are times when it is not possible to tell with certainty whether these two side effects occur at the same time.

• For this reason, non-medical practitioners often refer to both drug-induced drug allergies and drug-induced drug side effects or adverse drug reactions as “drug side effects.”

• As already mentioned above, other drugs such as penicillin, antibiotics, tranquilizers, anesthetics, aspirin, antihistamines, or iodine can act as antigens.

• Drug antigens encounter antibodies that are already in the body, resulting in antigen-antibody adverse reactions, which can lead to specific immune responses.

• This is the mechanism by which drug allergy occurs.

• An example of an immediate drug allergy is an anaphylactic reaction, and an example of a delayed drug allergy is serum sickness.

• Occasionally, drugs may cause drug side effects, and adverse reactions to antigen antibodies may cause drug allergy.
