Benefit antibodies and harmful antibodies

Atopic constitution

Benefit antibodies and harmful antibodies

•  When an antigen comes into contact with the skin or mucous membranes of the gastrointestinal tract,

When inhaled into the airways through the nostrils and nasal passages and comes into contact with the airway mucosa, • When an orally ingested antigen comes into contact with the mucosal layer of the gastrointestinal tract; • It is normal for the body to develop antibodies to antigens that have entered the blood through injection.

• At this time, beneficial antibodies can be made and harmful antibodies can be made.

• When an antigen that caused harmful antibodies in the past enters the body of the same person again, the antibody induced by the antigen and the antigen that re-entered the human body may meet and antigen-antibody binding may occur. That is, “antigen-antibody adverse reaction” in the body may occur.

• In such a case, allergic (allergic) disease may occur.

• When an adverse reaction occurs in the body, mast cells/Mastocytes in the body are stimulated to release histamine biochemical substances in the mast cells. • Histamine, immunoglobulin E (IgE), cytokines (Cytokines), leukotrienes, and other biochemical substances in the body act in a complex way, so that a ‘specific sensitization reaction’ can occur locally or throughout the body.

• At this time, various symptom signs may occur locally or throughout the body.

• These diseases are called allergic diseases (allergic diseases).

• The mechanism by which an allergic disease occurs is roughly this, but it is actually much more complex than that.

• There are still many unknowns about the exact mechanism of allergic disease.

• With most antigens that enter the human body, beneficial antibodies are also formed in the body as shown in the following example.

• For example, if a child is vaccinated against polio with a live polio vaccine made from the live poliovirus, antibodies to the poliovirus are produced in the body.

• When children with poliovirus antibodies developed after being vaccinated are infected with wild poliovirus, the poliovirus antibodies in the children’s body and wild poliovirus (antigen) combine to produce an antigen-antibody reaction.

• In this case, the wild poliovirus is the antigen. Infected wild poliovirus antigens are destroyed when the infected wild poliovirus, or antigen, reacts with polio antibodies produced by vaccination with the poliovirus vaccine. In other words, the wild poliovirus dies.

• In this example, the live poliovirus and wild poliovirus in the wild polio vaccination vaccine are antigens.

• When the wild poliovirus (antigen) infects a person with poliovirus antibodies, antibodies to the poliovirus that can kill the wild poliovirus are called poliovirus immune bodies, or antibodies.

• It is common to develop specific antibodies in the body by pathogens (antigens) after suffering from an infectious disease or subclinical infection due to viral infection, bacterial (bacterial) infection, or other types of pathogen infection.

• After that, when infected with the same type of pathogen (antigen) again, antibodies and antigen reactions are generated in the body to prevent infectious diseases.

• Pathogens such as bacteria and viruses are a kind of antigen. • When infected with a pathogen, an antibody that can kill the pathogen is called a ‘beneficial antibody’.

• Beneficial antibody binds to the pathogen that infects the human body and causes an antigen-antibody reaction to kill the pathogen. These beneficial antibodies are absolutely essential for living a healthy life. (See Figures 2 and 3 for antigen-antibody reaction).

• Sometimes, an antigen enters the human body and a ‘harmful antibody’ is made instead of making a beneficial antibody in the body with that antigen.

• For example, cat hair can produce harmful antibodies in the nasal mucosa, which can cause allergic rhinitis.

• When cat hair (antigen) is inhaled into a child’s nasal passages, the mucosal layer of the child’s nasal passages may develop cat hair antibodies against cat hair.

• Then, when the cat hair is inhaled again into the child’s nasal passages, the cat hair may bind to the cat hair antibody in the nasal mucosa, causing an adverse reaction with the cat hair antigen and antibody.

• This antigen and antibody abnormal reaction stimulates mast cells in the nasal mucosa, and histamine biochemicals (granules) are secreted into the nasal mucosa from the mast cells.

• At this time, histamine secreted from mast cells, immunoglobulin E (IgE), cytokines, and other biochemical substances in the body act in a complex way, and allergic rhinitis induced by cat hair may occur in the nasal mucosa.

• This specific immune reaction caused by an abnormal reaction between cat hair antigen and cat hair antibody is called cat hair allergic rhinitis.

• At this time, the antibodies produced by the cat’s hair are harmful to our body.

• In this way, an allergic disease can develop in one organ of one of the various systems of the body, or in more than one system, either locally or systemically.

Atopic constitution

• A constitution that can easily cause allergic diseases is called an allergic constitution, atopic constitution, or atopic constitution.

• Unfortunately, this allergic predisposition is inherited from generation to generation.

• There is a difference in the degree of allergic constitution.

• For people with atopic constitution

o atopic dermatitis,

o Bronchial asthma,

o allergic rhinitis,

o Other atopic diseases are induced.
